Banana Republic Hosts Mad Men Fashion Show Up In The Skies
Clothing retailer reveals its latest range 30,000 feet in the sky on a Virgin Atlantic plane.
To reveal its new Mad Men collection, Banana Republic decided to take it to new heights by turning a Virgin America flight into a fashion runway. The clothing retailer showed off its range inspired by the 60s advertising era in New York, largely made popular by the AMC TV series, ‘Mad Men.’
The items included cigarette pants and floral fitted dresses for women, and colorful polos and classic navy blazers for men. Banana Republic’s fashion show was reminiscent of Chanel’s airplane-themed couture show earlier this year.
