Pantone Inspired Pastries Are A Feast For The Eyes And The Palate [Pics]

French art director, Emilie Guelpa, creates color-coded tarts inspired by the paint brand for foodie mag Fricote.

PSFK has uncovered various interesting ways of utilizing Pantone in various media that extend beyond its original purpose of providing a uniform system for coding colors. In a creative gastronomic twist that definitely appeals to the palate, French art director Emilie Guelpa has created colorful tarts, all of which relate to respective Pantone colors. The Pantone-inspired tarts, consisting of lemon, berries, carrots, and candies artfully arranged on an iced tart base, were created as a feature for the latest issue of French food magazine Fricote.
