Swedish telecom company Doro has created a smartphone especially designed for the elderly citizens. The smartphone runs on Android software and uses Doro’s ‘Experience’ interface that’s easier to use and more simplified. Instead of bombarding the user with lots of on-screen information and icons. Instead, it has large applications icons that are well spaced and can be clearly understood.

Jerome Arnaud, Doro’s Chef Executive explained that, “The senior audience is overall becoming more tech savvy and demanding a smartphone they can use.” Doro’s Experience software can be installed onto any other Google Android device.
