If you thought the photos of the new Starbucks location in Fukuoka, Japan we shared last week were stunning, here’s a first look at the Starbucks Laboratory Concept Store in Rembrandtplein, Amsterdam. This location is all about maximizing the use of local resources, from existing architecture and building materials, to the talents of crafts people and artists. In a way this project is complimentary to the location in Fukuoka as it aims to recognize the distinct characteristics of the locale. Here’s the full press release with more details:
