The film director's commercial for the Sony Xperia smartphone shows it being powered by tiny robots.

After directing two recent commercials for Hyundai, Wes Anderson has now turned to Sony with an advert for their Xperia smartphones that uses stop motion animation. The director, who used stop motion techniques before for his film Fantastic Mr. Fox, worked with animation studio Laika/house for the 60-second ‘Made of Imagination' TV spot. It features the imaginings of 8-year-old Jake Ryan who thinks that smartphones have tiny robots inside them making the devices work. Take a look at the commercial below:
