Zappos Features Emerging Designers To Break Out The Next Fashion Star

New program allows upcoming talents to sell their range at the major clothing retailer.

Zappos recently launched The Emerging Designer program to recognize and support new talents in the fashion industry. The program provides up-and-coming fashion designers the opportunity to be featured on the Zappos website and sell their collection through that channel. Alison Callaways, Trend Manager for Zappos Development, recently stated in a company press release:

Over the past 11-plus years, Zappos.com has continued to grow thanks to the overwhelming support of our customers and our vendors. We want to turn that support around and help new talent get their first big break in the retail industry. It is our hope that by giving a national platform and exposure to millions of loyal Zappos customers, we can help give the next great designer, or brand, the chance they’ve been waiting for.

The Emerging Designer Program has already featured applicants from the U.S. and internationally. To apply, interested candidates can simply e-mail emergingdesigners@zappos.com with a few images of the line and brief bio of the designer and history.
