Renowned French designer Philippe Starck recently confirmed that he was working on a “revolutionary” project with the late Steve Jobs, former CEO of Apple. The private project was to build a grand high-tech yacht that was “sleek and minimalist.” The luxurious boat included plans to have a special glass panels designed by the “chief engineer of the Apple stores.”

Jobs was inspired to design to his own boat after a cruise vacation from Italy to Turkey. The plan was to have custom yacht builder Feadship to construct the boat, which unfortunately did not happen. Nevertheless, Starck, and Job’s wife Laurene are determined to have the project completed.
