Bug Memorials Encourage Awareness On City Streets
Commemorating fallen insects in the midst of a bustling city, forces people to engage with their surroundings.
Carmichael Collective took to the streets to create photographs of bug funerals as a way to promote their Minnesota-based creative agency. The ongoing installation is an homage to the numerous fallen insects, lying upside down on our city streets. Surprising at best, the project grabbed our attention with its aim to encourage city folk to be more aware of their surroundings.
