Barely weeks after making waves for their inventive eyeshadow portrait of their classic cheeseburger, popular fast food chain Burger King is making waves among consumers and foodies for adding an unusual item to their ever-expanding menu: a bacon-flavored sundae.

First spotted in Nashville as part of a trial run for consumers, the new sundae variant features the classic Burger King sundae–composed of vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup and caramel sauce–topped with one crispy piece of bacon.

Items also reported to be in testing include a pulled pork sandwich, frozen lemonade, and sweet potato fries. With this interesting menu addition, Burger King joins the ranks of fellow bacon dabblers Denny’s and Jack In The Box, who have also showcased a bacon maple sundae and a  bacon-flavored milkshake, respectively.

The bacon sundae is available for an introductory price of USD 2.49.
