Artist helps other bikers turn their humdrum safety kit into sparkle gear.

Over on the Instructables skill-sharing website, Natalie Walsh helps cyclists improve their road safety with instructions on creating a vividly decorated helmet that looks like a 70s disco ball. The San Francisco based art director, designer and illustrator details steps to sparkle any helmet and says, “Why make a disco ball helmet? Because it's awesome. Nuff said.”

Local bloggers at Mission Mission comment:

On one hand, this easily is the raddest helmet ever, constantly demonstrating how fabulous you are as you zip through intersections bedazzling pedestrians and motorists alike while belting out ABBA tunes, leaving freshly seared retinas in your wake.
