The AFAR mobile app is a tool for sharing, curating, and discovering travel experiences with a community. Users can browse or submit their own ‘Highlights,’ which are short descriptions with a photo that are geo-tagged by location. These stories provide information for travelers and help bring the experience to life.
Multi-platform travel media brand AFAR has updated its iPhone and Android app, allowing mobile users to easily browse Highlights relevant to their location or interests, post comments, ‘like’ Highlights, and save them for later. Davina Baum, director of digital content at AFAR, said:
