Kitchen Knife Typography Spells Out Life Is Beautiful
Artist, Farhad Moshiri gets right to the point with his thought-provoking installation that features the household implement stabbed into the gallery wall.
Iranian artist, Farhad Moshiri used his sharp wit in an art installation featuring the words ‘Life is Beautiful’ formed entirely from kitchen knives stabbed into a wall. We’ve never heard of knife typography before but the thought-provoking piece is subversive in commenting on how common household items can function as deadly weapons. It’s hard to make a statement like this without seeming trite, yet Moshiri does just that. View the gallery of images below to see the work up close.
