Iranian artist, Farhad Moshiri used his sharp wit in an art installation featuring the words ‘Life is Beautiful’ formed entirely from kitchen knives stabbed into a wall. We’ve never heard of knife typography before but the thought-provoking piece is subversive in commenting on how common household items can function as deadly weapons. It’s hard to make a statement like this without seeming trite, yet Moshiri does just that. View the gallery of images below to see the work up close.
