To help designers and other creatives discover new colors to use in their work, Pantone announced the addition of 336 new shades to its Pantone Plus Series.

Today, Pantone, the global authority on color announced the addition of 336 new shades to the Pantone Plus Series, bringing the grand total to 1,677 colors. The inspiration came from the Pantone Goe System, which adds depth to the color library, and the new spectrum reflects this. The new tones enrich the Plus Series palette, by providing a wide variety of saturation and undertones – from pale pastels, mid-tones to rich deep hues, as well as, the essential neutral and bold bright tones.

Each of the new 336 colors offer designers a more varied selection in the creative process and will become permanent fixtures in the Plus Series Color Library. Each shade will be available in coated and uncoated formats and are printed on text-weight paper to match the print specifications.
