Smart Car Creates Digital Flip Book On Their Twitter Feed
The automaker has launched an innovative campaign that is the first of its kind on the social network.
Sometimes, all you need is a bit of creativity (and a great deal of diligence) to come up with a “world’s first.” BBDO Argentina demonstrates this by showcasing what is now popularly billed as the “World’s First Commercial On Twitter” to promote the Smart Car. As a means of launching Smart Car Argentina’s official Twitter Page, the creative agency put together 456 140-character tweets to create a simple animation of a smart car travelling across a city. The “animation” sequence is reminiscent of basic rotoscoping and stop-motion animation as the viewer sees each tweet on the feed as a “frame” in succession, seen in the video below:
