Guests checking into The Hotel Brussels in Belgium will be able to skip the front desk and open their hotel room simply with any mobile phone. The 424-room luxury hotel will be the first in its industry to adopt the Mobile Key by OpenWays.

The system utilizes the power of mobile technology and uses the principle of Crypto Acoustic Credential (CAC). The room key is essentially sent to your phone and you would only need to hold your device in front of the door to open it.

Pascal Metivier, Founder and CEO of OpenWays, commented that:

Adding The Brussels Hotel to our growing portfolio of world class hotels is a real honor. Due to the luxury nature of this landmark hotel, delivering innovative services to guests that they demand is consistently a top priority.
