Global coffee chain tries to entice Parisians with decadent renovations and designs.

Our post yesterday attracted a lot of attention regarding how Starbucks is putting on a multimillion-dollar campaign in a desperate attempt to win over the French market. Starbucks has already renovated some of its retail stores around Paris to have more of a boutique atmosphere. These Starbucks stores feature plush lounges, grand designs, and a mixture of modern and traditional decor details.

The interior of the Starbucks coffee shops on Avenue de l’Opera and Boulevard des Capucines could be easily mistaken for a decadent cigar lounge or an opulent reading room. While the cafe in Carrousel du Louvre is more spacious and modern with plenty of products on display to lure consumers into sampling some of its blends.
