A recent study found that only 16% of retailers currently have a Mobile POS solution, but that 42% of retailers are currently piloting or  planning to start a trial with Mobile POS solutions within the next 3 years.  Mobile POS solutions would provide customers with a more efficient payment system, as waiting in line is a leading cause of lost sales.
