A forum member from NUI Group has made his own touch table that creates a 3D augmented reality experience. The table, designed by Bastian Broecker, uses the PlayStation Eye alongside Microsoft’s Kinect sensor to track the user’s finger and head, before adjusting the image and projecting it on the furniture surface. In the end, it gives the appearance as if the user is interacting with objects on a 3D plane.
