The flower throwing rioter, kissing policemen, and Mona Lisa with a grenade launcher are all iconic Banksy pieces that were recreated by news and features photographer, Nick Stern. In his series of eight pictures, ‘You Are Not Banksy,’ the elusive artist’s most famous stencils are captured on camera with real-life models. Fascinated by the work of Banksy, Stern spent months meticulously trying to capture each detail with painstaking accuracy. Stern adds: “I just hope Banksy likes what I have done.” Overall, it’s a comical tribute that we think Banksy could appreciate.
