Vehicle Goes From Car To Gyroplane With The Push Of A Button
The PAL-V One flying auto has a single rotor and propeller, which unfold from the top when you want to take off.
The PAL-V One is a two-seat hybrid car and gyroplane that lets the user drive on the road or fly in the air. The three-wheeled car can easily take off from the airfield using its single rotor and propeller, which unfold from the top. Converting it back to a car takes around ten minutes after you push the button.
You can fly the PAL-V One in the U.S. if you hold a Sports Pilot license. It flies below 4,000 feet and needs only a short take-off and landing space. The vehicle can reach 112 mph, and has a range of 750 miles on the road and 315 miles in the air. It runs on gasoline but there are plans for biodiesel or bio-ethanol versions.
