Jawbone Rolls Out Its Big Jambox With Speaker-Phone Option
Yves Behar-designed tech pumps out the tunes and doubles as speaker-phone.
Electronics brand Jawbone has turned once again to designer Yves Behar to help construct a larger version of the popular wireless speaker Jambox SmartSpeaker. Selling for $299, the 2.7 pounds, BIG JAMBOX uses proprietary neodymium drivers and two opposing passive bass radiators to pump out tunes that you’d expect from a speaker of a larger size. When connected to an iPhone, it can also be uses as a speaker-phone as it features an omnidirectional microphone for 360-degree sound input and employs echo-cancellation and full duplex communication for “crystal-clear” calls from the office or home.
