The second annual Parsons Festival launched this week with their final year student event.

Parsons The New School For Design kicked off their festival this week with a runway show spotlighting the work of the School of Fashion’s graduating class. The event, which took place in Chelsea’s Pier 60, also focused on honoring alumna and Parson’s deep heritage.

The third and final purpose of the festival is to attract new talent to The New School. The festival’s co-chair Angela Tsuei-Strause was quoted on the New School blog saying that:
