Japanese fashion brand UNIQLO commissioned Cornelius (Keigo Oyamda), a Grammy nominee, to sing to its consumers every morning. UNIQLO’s Wake Up app is a clever social alarm that creates a song according to the time and weather. The music is also co-written by Japanese composer Yoko Kanno.

The alarm is a great example of a clever branded app where consumers could actually integrated to their everyday lives. The Wake Up is available for free in the App Store and also the Android Market. Users can choose to have different languages, including English, Chinese, Japanese, French, and Russian.
