Walmart Crowdsources New Products For Store Shelves

Three start-up companies have won shelf-space via the initiative: HumanKind Water, Plate Topper and SnapIt Eyeglass Repair Kit.

Three start-ups were recently awarded shelf-space at Walmart as winners of its ‘Get on the Shelf’ crowdsourcing contest. Over 4,000 inventors, entrepreneurs and small businesses from across the U.S. entered the contest and more than one million votes were cast. HumanKind Water, PlateTopper and SnapIt Eyeglass Repair Kit will be available on HumanKind Water will also be on physical shelves in select Walmart U.S. stores soon.
