Perhaps during your youth you played with LEGOs and perhaps you built, in miniature form, things you knew and loved. How pleased would your inner child be if you could have your childhood home recreated out of the colorful plastic bricks? Well real estate company Movoto has created an online calculator that figures out how many bricks it would take and how much it could cost to do so, based on square footage and number of floors.

Movoto created the ‘LEGO My House’ tool just for fun, having been inspired by James May, the man who built a house out of LEGOs in the UK back in 2009. Instead of actually doing it though, they just wanted to know what it would take to make an average American home. The answer: Over ten million LEGOs and a million dollars for a 2000 square foot house.

Try it out for your own home.
