A group of Chinese designers have come up with a concept idea to embed USB ports into AA batteries. ‘Continuance’ batteries can be placed in devices and used like normal, or a USB cable can be plugged into it to recharge smartphones, cameras, and other USB-powered devices.

It would great to see this concept design realized as it would be a very convenient way to recharge something on the go. For now, you can order this sleek portable power station that can charge up to four electronic devices at once.
