Portugal-based designer Joaquim Rocha has combined wireless technology with fine materials like cork, leather, and stainless steel, to create the SOURK headphones. This project for his masters degree in Design & Product Development explores cork’s acoustic insulation properties. The material improves sound quality and privacy, allowing the wearer to listen to loud music without disturbing those around them.
