Hacked IKEA Restaurant Offers DIY Dining Settings & Modern Meatballs [Pics]

A pop-up eatery provides customers with a unique take on modern cookie cutter furniture.

Oatmeal studio has transformed the theater space in The Hague, Netherlands, into a pop-up restaurant. The restaurant includes IKEA home furniture items that have been re-modified to create an interesting dining setting. The IkHA restaurant allows customers to customize their table settings by cutting their own tablecloth or placements from a selection of wallpapers.

In addition to the interior, Oatmeal studio has also transformed the iconic IKEA meatballs and made them more “modernized.” The DIY pop-up restaurant will be open until 30 July.
