American Airlines are offering a new service for customers, which will enable them to go straight from the airport to their destination without waiting around for ages at the baggage carousel.

The company has partnered with BAGS VIP Luggage Delivery to ship your baggage to your home or hotel for a fee. Passengers will be charged $29.95 for one bag, $39.95 for two bags, and $49.95 for three to ten bags. This includes delivery to a location within 40 miles of the airport, and the airline will charge an extra $1 per mile for locations 41 to 100 miles away.

The service, which will be offered at over 200 airports across the U.S., can be booked when you purchase your airline ticket. Customers then drop their bags off at the ticket counter and a special indicator will be printed onto tags to help representatives correctly identify your luggage and quickly get it to its delivery destination. You can then bypass the baggage carousel and will receive your bags at your destination of choice within four hours.
