Disney Creates Mickey Mouse Ears That Light Up In Sync With Attractions

‘Glow With the Show’ light-up LED ears interact with the 'World of Color’ show and others at the Disney California Adventure location, by changing color and flashing.

Disney California Adventure Park has introduced ‘Glow With The Show’ Mickey Mouse ears fitted with LEDs, which sync with some of the attractions at the park. The ears interact with the World of Color nighttime show, the Mad T Party event, and locations within the new Cars Land, lighting up to match the colors and flashing to the beat. They let the audience become part of the entertainment and engage fans with innovative technology, in a similar way to Coldplay’s LED wristbands. When not watching the co-ordinating shows, the wearer can switch to demo mode and enjoy their own light show. The videos below show the ears in action and explain more about how they work:
