British retailer, Next, is mostly known for its wide range of clothing and accessories, from designer clothes to casual sportswear. Now, the popular fashion chain could be opening a few garden centers after a concept store that opened in Shoreham, West Sussex, proved to be a success. The shop offered DIY products and a small garden center that stocked plants and flowers.

Chief Executive of Next, Lord Wolfson, would “ideally like to open similar stores” and the concept idea proved “extremely successful.” Horticulture could be the next fashionable market segment.
