IKEA Communications biggest photo studio ix a 94,000-square-foot facility is filled with show rooms and a staff of carpenters, designers, and photographers. Chances are, the images you see in IKEA’s print and online catalogs were produce here. Take a look at the video below to see IKEA’s photo studio:

The future of the photo studio is uncertain though: the Scandinavian furniture company hopes to move away from actual photoshoots to design rooms and products using AutoCAD, a 3D design and imaging software. These computer-generated images look amazingly realistic and it’s hard to spot the real photo from a digital image.
