Waxing Salon Transforms Hampton’s Jitney Into A Moving Digital Voucher

The European Wax Center creates an interactive campaign to attract new customers.

Beach traffic can be such a bummer. But at least now you’ll have some actual ‘bums’ to look at when traveling to the Hamptons.

The European Wax Center has created a fun and interactive campaign for users to receive a complimentary waxing service from one of its salons. The iconic Hampton Jitney has been turned into the “world’s sexiest digital coupon,” plastered with photos taken by Henrik Halvarsson of women in bikinis. Passersby can take a photo of the bus with the tag  #EWCBumBus on Twitter, or by checking into the “EWC Jitney Bum Bus” location on Facebook or Foursquare, users can then redeem the coupon for a free waxing service.

The bus will travel the South Fork lines from Manhattan to the the Hamptons everyday at 9 a.m. from 30 July until 26 August. The social media campaign was created by the ad agency StrawberryFrog.

Get a free wax (men, EWC is an equal opportunity waxer, so this also means you) by ‘liking’ the European Wax Center Facebook page and tagging their picture on your timeline. So next time you’re headed to the beach, don’t forget the essentials… bathing suit, sunglasses, and a free wax! After all, no one likes seeing a hairy back or an unruly bikini line.
