Domo can by synced to household appliances so if you can’t remember whether you’ve turned something off, you can just alert the device and it will turn it off for you.

Domo is a small wi-fi sensor that can by synced to your household appliances to help those who frequently forget whether they have switched them off before leaving the house. It can be used to control your appliances while you’re away using your smartphone or tablet and also senses your device’s proximity, enabling it to automatically turn on/off certain lights or appliances when you leave for work and return home in the evening.

Domo stands for Domestic Monitor and is a device to help transform home automation from an expensive novelty to an integral part of everyone’s daily lives.

Domo is currently seeking funding on Kickstarter, where it has raised over $5,000. The campaign has 24 days to reach its goal of $30,000. You can watch the campaign video below:
