Smoke Alarm accelerates the efforts to raise awareness and funding for projects immediately and in real-time.

President Bill Clinton recently brought ‘Smoke Alarm' into the limelight by announcing the app at the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) Annual Meeting. Smoke Alarm is a “social media emergency broadcast network” that was created by singer-songwriter Smokey Robinson in partnership with David Clark, a global leader in creating cause-related brands and initiatives.

According to its website, the app “aggregates Twitter and Facebook feeds and then leverages them to drive awareness and action for important issues that need immediate attention.” When an urgent need is identified, the message can be spread quickly via social media platforms and accelerate the efforts to encourage others to help out.
