Catroulette is a cat adoption website that has based its user interface on Chatroulette’s ‘nexting’ model. Whereas the popular site offers people the chance to chat to strangers using their webcams and click ‘next’ to switch to someone new, Catroulette lets visitors skip through videos of cats and kittens in need of good homes.

Cat Adoption Charities Use Chatroulette Approach To Getting Takers

The site, which is backed by several cat adoption agencies in Belgium, also allows you to see how many people have skipped over a particular feline (some cats have been ‘nexted’ over 15,000 times!). If you find one you like, click the ‘adopt’ button to get more details like the cat’s name, age, and relevant contact information about how to adopt the cat.
