Designer Reineke Otten rethinks stats into beautifully printed graphics and colors.

Designer Reineke Otten wanted to combine dry statics with design and fashion. Otten produced a series of ‘World Skin Colors‘ scarves that represent each country with the demographic data, such as population density, migration, GDP, temperature, UV radiation, and transport.

Otten was able to rethink the data and present them with different shapes, colors, and patterns. The end results are printed scarves that are not only pretty to look at, but also informational. Among the countries represented are United States, Australia, India, The Netherlands, and Canada. Click through the images below to see more images of the scarves.
