The ‘Presence of Heart‘ dress was designed and produced by Alison Lewis for the fashion design firm Agent of Presence. The heart-sensing dress displays the wearer’s heartbeat as light patterns that ‘beat’ in sync to the rhythm. It uses sensing and textile technologies, converting the signal via Erogear technology and displaying it using 24 LEDs with specially-made driver boards.

The dress was showcased this week at Studio64, a San Francisco Fashion Technology Event at Club Temple. If you’d like to see it in action, check out the video below:
