German designer Moritz Waldemeyer recently collaborated with Philip Treacy, who has created hats for the likes of Kate Middleton and Lady Gaga, for his London Fashion Week show. A number of unique LED designs were debuted at the show, including ‘Shroud’, a delicate illuminated basket-type sculpture that completely covered the model in a cloak of light. An intricate mesh of threads were woven around a specially-designed styrofoam core and 6,000 LEDs were integrated and programmed with animated sequences.
