Opera Singer Produces Algae With Her Voice For Listeners To Eat

Algae Opera is a unique performance with a blend of music, science, and food. Opera singer Louise Ashcroft wears a biotechnology suit as that is able to convert her breath into algae. These photosynthetic plant-like organisms feeds off the carbon dioxide as Ashcroft sings. Afterwards, the audience can also “taste her song” by sampling some of the algae produced.
