The DualWash Bipartite Dishwasher concept designed by Halit Sancar, Gökçe Altun, Pinar Şimşek, and Nagihan Tuna, uses carbon dioxide instead of water to clean dishes. As it doesn’t use water, you can just close the door to have extra storage space and it doesn’t need to be emptied.

The dual-sided cabinet lets you use just one half or both, depending on the amount of dirty dishes you have. When you start the washing cycle, the machine pumps supercritical carbon dioxide (liquid CO2) into the chamber to clean the items.
