Wearable Camera Snaps Photos To Automatically Document The Entire Day
'Autographer’ by OMG Life is a smart camera that takes thousands of pictures a day based on 5 sensors that monitor changes in color, motion, direction, and temperature.
UK-based technology group OMG has launched a new camera developed by its consumer division, OMG Life. ‘Autographer‘ is a smart, wearable device that has been “custom-built to enable spontaneous, hands-free image capture.”
The camera automatically takes pictures throughout the day, snapping thousands of high resolution photos using its wide-angle lens, ultra-small GPS unit, and five in-built sensors. These sensors monitor changes in light, color, motion, direction, and temperature, to determine the right moment to take a photo.
An Autographer stop-frame video lets you see a whole day’s activity in a few minutes. There is also an easy-to-use desktop interface coupled with a mobile app designed to make image viewing and sharing easy. Users will be able to edit their images to develop videos or animated stories, and download photos on the move with Bluetooth connectivity. Autographer will initially be available to purchase online in the UK in November, priced at £399.
