The new cloud-based platform can be used to sync multiple email accounts and create stacks of filters.

AOL has introduced a new cloud-based email platform called Alto that is designed to be used with existing email accounts including AOL, Gmail, Yahoo!, and iCloud. The free client aims to combat inbox fatigue with its visual layout, organizational features, and clear user experience.

Users can create ‘stacks' that automatically organize important pieces of their inbox (like photos, attachments, social notifications, daily deals, etc.) for easy access and quick viewing. Users can also drag and drop individual emails to create their own customized stacks based on sender, recipients, keywords, and more.
