Chicago-based art director Illi Ferandez is “ready to get her foot in the door” with her Ad Kicks project. She is making customized shoes for top creative directors that match their personality. For example, the shoes for Tim Nolan (BBH Labs) are skate-inspired, as Tim is an avid skateboarder and Michael Boychuk’s (Leo Burnett) shoes draw inspiration from entries in his journals from his travels in the Ukraine and India.
