A concept bio-battery attached to a phone can convert sugary drinks into electrical energy.

London-based designer Daizi Zheng has come up with a phone concept that can reduce energy and electrical waste. The phone has a chemical board that is able to convert the enzyme in sugary drinks into electric power. Essentially, users can charge their phone simply by pouring soda or fruit drinks into it.

The liquid is poured into a cylindrical container that attaches itself to the back of the mobile phone. When the sugar and carbs have been turned into power, all that would be left is oxygen and water that can be poured out.
