High-end department store invites Valentino, Versace, and Oscar de la Renta to recreate fairytale dresses for adults.

London's upmarket department store invited 10 of the world's most renowned womenswear designers to recreate dresses from Disney fairytales. The theme was Modern Day Disney Princesses and designers including Versace, Roberto Cavalli, Valentino, and Oscar de la Renta, re-imagined their versions of the iconic gowns from Sleeping Beauty, Pocahontas, The Little Mermaid, and Snow White.

The results are beautiful gowns stitched together with luxurious fabrics, and sleek lines with a contemporary and fresh feel. The dresses will be revealed on 1 November as part of the Harrods Christmas windows, and the designs also coincides with its Disney Princess pop-up boutique.
