These Socrates Socks are made from a material that you often find in bullet-proof vests, rather than in an everyday clothing item. Spun with military-grade Kevlar Carbon Matrix, the company guarantees that you will never get a hole or worn out bottoms in a pair of Socrates.

Socrates Sock is one of the first to use Kevlar in a business-casual application. The sock is made primarily made from LYCRA freshFX fabric to offer anti-droop while remaining comfortable. The Kevlar sections are carbon threaded around the toe and heel areas where it’s usually the first place to see wear and tear.

The idea was conceptualized in Milan, Italy by a former American military member. The project has already received over $20,000 in funding on Kickstarter with 17 days to go. Watch the video below to learn more about the hole-proof socks:
