Chanel's Spring/Summer 2013 fashion show in Paris took style cues from the world of renewable energy.
Always one to watch for memorable runway themes, Karl Lagerfeld’s latest for the Chanel Spring/Summer 2013 show in Paris took its style cues from the world of renewable energy. Guests were greeted with over a dozen towering wind turbines and stepped across the shimmering blue tiled runway inspired by solar panels to get to their seats.
Lagerfeld worked the solar panel pattern into various dresses and a knitted top featuring a wind turbine design was also showcased at the event, which headlined the penultimate day of the Paris ready-to-wear collections.
