Designer Si Chan's 'Hands' jacket gives love and affection a stylish twist.

Combining fashion with narrative, emerging designer Si Chan symbolically integrated human features into his fashion line as a cathartic departure from human isolation. The focal point of the collection, ‘Hands,” positions a figurative object to express the abstract ideas of love and affection. Si Chan’s exaggerated jacket’s features resemble a kid’s stuffed toy, enlarging and magnifying the scale of the clothing to instill a sense of fullness, or relief.

In his words:

Interaction and communication are the action to express love and depart from loneliness between human beings.
