The Zeal iON HD camera goggles shoot 1080p video and 8 megapixel photos from between the lenses.

Colorado-based company Zeal Optics has announced a new pair of goggles for the slopes that lets you capture 1080p video using its built-in HD camera with wide-angle lens located right between the eyes. With the Zeal ION you can also shoot up to 8 megapixel photos, without having to take your hands out of your gloves.

The POV camera has an easy-to-use playback mode and control placements, making it simple to replay footage, set up sequence or timelapse shots, and easily share your moments on social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. The goggles also have high density, anti-fog UV optics, an impact-resistant frame, and dual strap adjustments. They are available in-store and online for $399. John Sanchez, president of Zeal, said:
